Conference on Security and the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic

On 17th January 2020, the conference called Security and Armed Forces of the Czech Republic was held at the Faculty of Sports Studies of Masaryk University in Brno. The conference was attended by representatives of the Police of the Czech Republic, the Military Police of the Czech Republic, the Prison Service of the Czech Republic, the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic and the Army of the Czech Republic.

The aim of the meeting was to share knowledge about training and education and also to create communication flows for broadening knowledge to help implement current trends in training for the above organizations. There were ten presentations which dealt with the educational activities and procedures of the participating bodies. The theoretical block was followed by a practical seminar focused on stabilization exercises for shooting training. This was followed by movement exercises for hitting techniques.

At the end of the conference, there was an overall evaluation, in which all participants agreed that this type of knowledge sharing was not only beneficial for all, but also necessary to keep the training of security and armed forces up to date and to link theory with practice.
