Group of our students studied in Lithuania for a week
They travelled to Kaunas from 8th to 12th April as part of the international Blended Intensive Programme.
From 26 to 29 September, the international meeting of the project "Outdoor Adventure Education through Physical Education" (OutAdvEd) took place at the University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki. Our faculty is a partner and the project team includes Alena Skotáková and Sylva Hřebíčková from the Department of EDUC.
The project aims to develop a curriculum that will improve the skills, knowledge, and understanding of teachers, educators, and tutors, as well as design Outdoor Adventure Activity programmes with an emphasis on social-emotional learning. Thus, the meeting mainly included the development of one of the project outputs - a curriculum framework, which our faculty was tasked to outline.
In the next period, the two colleagues will travel to Seville, Spain, and Athens, Greece, and the project will conclude at the University of Luxembourg, which is the principal investigator of this international project. The topic is very interesting and the experience from this work will soon be reflected in the organisation and teaching content of the courses organised by the EDUC department.
They travelled to Kaunas from 8th to 12th April as part of the international Blended Intensive Programme.
Together, we discussed possibilities of our cooperation, including internships of our students in Portugal.
