We hosted an international conference of the armed forces
The 3rd Conference of the Security and Armed Forces of the Czech Republic took place at our faculty on the 11th and 12th April.
12th Sport and Quality of Life Conference at the Faculty of Sports Studies
From 7th to 9th November the 12th Sport and Quality of Life International Conference took place at the Faculty.
The Conference also included a special section Ortoreha in which 70 experts participated. This section focuses on doctors specialized in orthopedics and physiotherapy. The topic of this year was “Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Procedures Used in the Treatment of Shoulders“.
The conference was divided into seven special sections:
• Analysis of human movement
• Sport training, nutrition and regeneration
• Sport and social sciences
• Active ageing and sarcopenia
• Strength and conditioning training (Czech/Slovak languages allowed)
• PhD section
• Poster section
Altogether 140 participants presented their contributions.
