Faculty of Sports Studies Hosted Students from the University of Groningen
On Monday, May 18, as part of the Studiosi Mobilitae program, we welcomed 22 sports science students from the University of Groningen. During the full-day program, they became familiar with our academic facilities and laboratories. Theoretical knowledge was immediately followed by practical application. In the combat sports gym, they completed a two-hour block focused on (not only) basic falling techniques and strikes under the guidance of ASEBS master’s student Bc. Vendula Poláčková.
The professional program was then concluded with a lecture by the Vice-Dean for External Relations and Internationalization, Assoc. Prof. Mgr. Michal Kumstát, Ph.D., titled From Data to Decisions: Practical Applications of Nutritional Biohacking, accompanied by an engaging discussion on modern trends in sports nutrition and the differences in sports studies between our country and abroad.
We would like to thank our international colleagues for their visit and look forward to further cooperation.
