From 18 to 20 February, our Vice-Dean for External Relations and Internationalization, Michal Kumstát, together with the Head of the Internationalization Office, František Hurt, travelled to Drammen, Norway, to continue their intensive collaboration with colleagues from the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN).The main goal of the working meeting was to move forward with the preparation of a joint Master’s programme (Double Degree), which is planned to launch in 2028.

Over the course of the three-day meeting, teams from both universities focused primarily on the academic content of the programme: refining the study structure, aligning individual courses, and setting the framework for students who will be able to complete part of their studies abroad and graduate with diplomas from both institutions.

The visit was financially supported by the EDUC university alliance, under whose framework this new international study programme is being developed. The alliance has been fostering closer cooperation among partner universities and supporting the development of joint educational initiatives.
