We hosted an international conference of the armed forces
The 3rd Conference of the Security and Armed Forces of the Czech Republic took place at our faculty on the 11th and 12th April.
St Valentine´s tournament in table tennis 2020
On 14th February 2020, a university tournament of mixed teams in table tennis took place in the gym on Vinařská Street. Eight teams from three universities and ten faculties took part in the event. The number of teams was affected by the flu epidemic when four teams cancelled on the day of the event. The teams first battled in two groups, then in the knock-out tournament for their final positions. The results were often decided only in the mixed doubles matches that followed the singles.
The winners of the Hobby category were Sajdáková and Červinka (both from the Faculty of Science), Barnabášová (Faculty of Economics and Administration) and Pobořil (Faculty of Sports Studies) won second place and Kapuciánová (Pedagogical Faculty) and Urubek (Faculty of Social Studies) came third.
There was only one team, Skrutková (Faculty of Science) and Vaněk (Faculty of AgriSciences of Mendel University), in the Ambition category since nobody had beaten them in the previous category.
