Last week, academics Alena Skotáková and Sylva Hřebíčková participated in the final international meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Outdoor Adventure Education through Physical Education,” held in Luxembourg.

At the meeting, they brought brand-new publications in English developed within the project, to which they were principal authors, published by the MUNIPRESS publishing house. These practically oriented manuals serve as inspiration for physical education teachers, instructors, and all those who wish to develop students’ social-emotional skills through outdoor activity instruction. The publications contain not only theoretical frameworks but also specific methodological procedures, templates, and reflective tools.

“We arrived in Luxembourg not only with a suitcase full of brochures but also with an open mind and a willingness to share. It was our first visit to this small yet academically welcoming country, and we leave with new knowledge as well as friendships and inspiration for further collaboration.”

The photograph clearly demonstrates that they succeeded in raising the profile of the Faculty of Sports Studies at Masaryk University within the entire international team — not only due to the quality of their outputs. Now, the only thing left is to find a place for the publications in libraries (and in the minds of teachers), where they will firmly take root.
