7th place at the Masters World Championship in pentathlon

Martin Sebera, a teacher at the Department of Kinesiology, is not only an expert in methodology, statistics and IT technology but he is still an active sportsman – athlete.

On 28th March 2019, he participated in the Masters World Championship in Torun, Poland and achieved 7th place in pentathlon – M45 category. As part of his pentathlon, he participated in the following events: 60 m hurdles (9,32 s), long jump (565 cm), shot put (10,52 m), high jump (163 cm), 1000 m (3:30,08). Apart from the 7th place, he also improved the Czech record to 3381 points.
