Summer Schools at the Faculty of Sports Studies introduce topics of psychology, sport sciences and performance and martial arts

When our students leave for holidays, we take a chance and use the otherwise empty facilities for educating others. This summer, we organize three Summer Schools - all focused on sports but each from different perspectives. The first, Summer School of Team Psychology in Practice is starting from 24 to 29 June 2019 followed by Summer School of Sport and Exercise Sciences taking place from 1 to 5 July 2019. The last, Summer School of Combatives is starting from 4 to 8 September 2019.

The week-long programme of each summer school is fully in English and mostly practical. The students spend most of the time in gyms, laboratories and also outside. They will get the chance to test their condition and analyze their performance skills, train correct combative techniques to prevent injuries, try different team roles and design teambuilding activities. Each Summer School is worth 3 ECTS credits.

The Summer Schools are open to all international and domestic MU students.

Non–students interested in the topics can also apply. Applications are open till 31 May 2019, for the Summer School of Combatives till 31 July 2019. Students from MU and partner Universities are eligible for a discount – ask at
