The Centre of Movement Diagnostics diagnoses top sportsmen and sportswomen

On 11th April the cross-country skier and endurance runner Eva Nývltová-Vrabcová visited the Faculty of Sports Studies to be tested at the Centre of Movement Diagnostics. Nývltová visited the gait laboratory where she was examined. It gave her information about side assymetry, the most stressed area of the foot and about morphological changes in the foot. The examination is to prevent potential problems that often result in pain in the feet.

Eva Nývltová-Vrabcová started as a skier at three Winter Olympic Games and six world championships. Her summer supplementary sport of long-distance running became her new profession. She qualified for the Olympic Games in Rio as a marathon runner and she finished in 26th place.
