Awards for the best academic athletes in Brno were given to five students of Masaryk University

The best academic athletes of the City of Brno were announced on 9th December during the official ceremony organized by the University of Defence. Five of the thirteen awarded athletes from four public and one state universities were from Masaryk University.

Awards went to the shooter Lucie Brázdová, the Thai boxer and kickboxer Monika Chochlíková, the swimmer Dominik Vavrečka and the biathlete Adam Václavík from the Faculty of Sports Studies. The fifth was the swimmer Tereza Poláchová from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University.

The 3rd Conference of the Security and Armed Forces of the Czech Republic took place at our faculty on the 11th and 12th April.

We are participating in a hybrid course within the consortium of EDUC universities

Applications for the course 'Initiation to Research and Critical Thinking' are now open to students. Students can earn one credit for the subject at their home university, and if they also complete a subsequent short-term practical internship, they will receive an additional two credits for it.
