First-year students were officially admitted into the academic community
Matriculation, the ceremonial induction of first-year undergraduate students into the academic community, is a traditional act at the beginning of each academic year. This year's matriculation took place on Friday 13 October 2023 in the Karel Engliš Auditorium at the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University.
After a speech by the Dean of the Faculty, PhDr. Jan Cacek, Ph.D., the reading of the oath by student Ondřej Šlapanský and the swearing-in of representatives of all seven study specializations over the faculty insignia, over 260 students present received their matriculation certificate.
