Jan Cacek was appointed to run the Faculty

On Thursday 19th March, the Rector of Masaryk University Professor Martin Bareš appointed the vice-dean for science and research Jan Cacek to take over temporary management of the faculty. Jan Cacek also works at the Department of Athletics, Swimming and Outdoor Sports. He is a member of Programme Boards, Editorial Board, Scientific Board of Masaryk University and PhD supervisor (in the field of Sports Sciences).
Jan Cacek is an expert on fitness and athletics training. Apart from his work at the Faculty, he is a lecturer of training coaches for sports unions, fitness coach and consultant for a number of national team members and elite sports teams.

The 3rd Conference of the Security and Armed Forces of the Czech Republic took place at our faculty on the 11th and 12th April.

We are participating in a hybrid course within the consortium of EDUC universities

Applications for the course 'Initiation to Research and Critical Thinking' are now open to students. Students can earn one credit for the subject at their home university, and if they also complete a subsequent short-term practical internship, they will receive an additional two credits for it.

The topic was "Playful Movement Activities for all Generations".

Dr. Tomáš Hlinský participated in teaching at the Hogeschool Inholland – University of Applied Sciences in Haarlem, the Netherlands.
