On Wednesday, 24 January, a meeting of didacticians was held

Since there have been major changes in education in recent years, we must respond with innovations in the teaching of physical education, teaching students to acquire pedagogical competencies in new ways and methods, and teaching them to awaken in students a love of movement, which must be part of their healthy lifestyle.

In the morning program of the meeting, speakers from the faculty management, academics involved in teaching and also people from practice took part. Topics revolved around the organization of teaching practice, teacher competencies, revisions to the RVP, and ways to fund course innovation. The discussions, glosses and comments of the participants went in an interesting direction, and it turned out that there are many topics to be discussed.

Participation was, one could say, abundant, it is clear that most academics want to move physical education into the realms of important and necessary subjects in all types of schools. For this, we are extremely happy.

In the future, we plan to organize more discussion and innovation-oriented meetings, trainings and workshops. We want to connect faculty subjects with practice more than has been the case so far.

Both our students and later on the pupils in schools can look forward to better quality PE teaching).
