Description E-learning teaching material Management and planning of middle and long distance runs training was prepared to provide a model example for management, planning, periodization and evidence of training of performance and top level athletes. As a model there serves training and preparation of runners at middle distance runs (800 and 1500m). This course is divided into several chapters which include basic information on training management, planning of training, means and methods used in training, traditional and alternative varieties of training periodization. Text is accompanied by practical examples of planning, periodization, records of general and specific load indicators in runner at 1500 m in the peak period of the sports preparation.
