Description The contribution deals with classical dancing, its health aspects and suitable means of regeneration. On the basis of characteristic of specific strain on organism in classical dancing we analyse the most frequent accidents and injuries which occur during the specific movement. This analysis serves as a basis for subsequent recommendation for suitable loads of regeneration using which it is possible to eliminate damage to organism. Due to lack of available bibliography dealing with classical dancing from the health-preventive point of view we were interested in the level of knowledge about this field in the students of classical dancing themselves. The contribution is therefore supplemented with questionnaire results which point out a low level of education in the field of regeneration as well as unsatisfactory extent of its use.
