The project is designed to support the research activities of four Ph.D.
students. The project corresponds thematically with the research areas of FSpS MU, specifically the dynamic and kinematic analysis of the human body. The main goal of this research is to find out the adaptions changes in the body caused by specific force and velocity exercises such as squats, bench press, and sprints on a short track of maximum intensity. The research team consists of athletes from various sports sectors (floorball, athletics, and weightlifting) and different age groups including prepubescent and adult. The research also includes investigating the transfer of strength between different types of squats, next maximum strength of the lower limbs, the explosive and maximum force of the upper limbs, the maximum speed of movement and the effect of different recovery interval lengths on selected power parameters. To obtain data, testing of one repetition maximum, isokinetic dynamometer measurements and measurements using Garmin Fénix 3 sports watches will be used. The results will be presented at international conferences and in the journals with IF. The main output for coaching practice will be to help the coaches with optimizing training sessions based on the influence of selected variables (recovery time, exercise specificity) on performance parameters. We assume that the results of the research will become the basis for updating the training knowhow in practice.
