Some gyms and sports grounds on MUNI are opening

For the period from 18 May 18 to 26 June, some sports grounds of Masaryk University have reopened for students. You can find the places where you can do sports as well as the info on the conditions of sports in the MUNI gyms following the preventative measures related to COVID-19 at this link (in Czech only).

Graduations will not take place at MUNI until the end of August

For preventive reasons, graduations will not be held at Masaryk University until the end of August. The proceedings after 1 September will already be the responsibility of the deans of the individual faculties. The issue of replacing cancelled spring and summer dates will also depend on the decisions of the faculties, please inquire at your Office for Studies.

The e-prezenčka will end in May. The libraries will fully open again

After the State of Emergency ends, i.e., from 18 May, remote access to the e-prezenčka application, which provides access to the most used publications from the MUNI libraries, will no longer be available.

Stay of foreigners in Czech Republic after the end of State of Emergency

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic has updated information regarding the stay of foreign nationals at the territory of the Czech Republic after the end of State of Emergency. All foreign nationals can legally stay in the Czech Republic for an additional 60 days after the end of the state of emergency – that is until July 17, 2020.
