The open day attracted a record number of visitors
Last week, the Faculty of Sports Studies at Masaryk University held an Open Day, and the interest exceeded all expectations. The event attracted a record number of visitors—an estimated 500 prospective students, making it the highest turnout in the faculty's history.

Great interest in studies
The event began with a large-scale lecture in the ball sports hall, which was filled to capacity. The introductory presentation provided a comprehensive overview of study programs, career opportunities and student life at the faculty. After the lecture, visitors moved to individual stations, where they had the opportunity to meet study program coordinators and current students. Prospective students could ask anything they were curious about—from the admission process to details about the curriculum.
As part of the accompanying program, visitors could try out a wide range of activities prepared by the faculty. These included physical fitness testing a competition in the Jacik test, unconventional sports games, table tennis, team-building activities and a photo booth. The event not only offered a chance to get to know the faculty up close but also to experience its unique atmosphere.
Thank you for the amazing atmosphere
The faculty extends its gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event—from lecturers and students to the organizing team. We look forward to welcoming all applicants in May for the admission process.
