The 14th International Kinanthropology Conference highlighted the latest trends and brought together circus and science
Seven European universities from six countries have jointly created an international online course, which includes a one-week excursion to Portugal. The course will be taught in the first half of the spring semester of 2025. Selected students will receive a scholarship for their stay at Politécnico de Santarém in Rio Maior, Portugal. Register by December 6, 2024!
The course "Physical Activity and Health-enhancing Behaviours" will take place in the form of online lectures on 19th, 26th of March, 02nd, 09th and 23rd of April 2025 (Wednesdays 14:00-16:30 WET Lisbon/London time). Most of the teaching will occur online through regular weekly webinars. From April 28 to May 2, there will be an intensive week of in-person teaching at Politécnico de Santarém in Rio Maior, Portugal. You can apply for a mobility scholarship for the week-long stay in Portugal.
The course will be taught in English and is worth 5 credits. Completing both the online and offline parts of the program is crucial for your nomination.
If you are interested, please send a motivation letter to: frantisek.hurt@fsps.muni.cz by December 1, 2024. In your motivation letter, mention why you are interested in the course, what you believe it will bring you, and, if applicable, what information you could contribute as part of the collaboration with international students.
A similar course was held in 2024 when our students and academics traveled to Lithuania, and in 2023, when our faculty was the host institution for the in-person intensive course.
